Outposts do not stay active forever in Meet Your Maker. Instead, they need to be refilled occasionally to be marked as Active.

This means that before the outpost can be visited by other raiders and generate rewards, it will need to be activated and refilled.

To refill your outpost, you’ll need to prestige it by selecting the ‘Reset’ option in the Outpost Management Settings.

To refill and prestige your outpost in Meet Your Maker, follow these steps:

  1. Access the Command Center after launching the game.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Build’ tab on the top side.
  3. Select the outpost you want to refill – A red outline signifies that the outpost is inactive.
  4. Visit the base and select options.
  5. Navigate to the middle tab on top named ‘Prestige’.
  6. On the bottom right side, select ‘Reset’.

This way, you’ll spend all your Prestige Points and prestige your base. This will also refill your outpost and any GenMats.

Even if you don’t have enough points to prestige your outpost, the Reset button will consume your current points and refill your outpost so that other players can visit it.

Keep in mind that the max prestige level is 10. After that, you’ll be unable to prestige and refill your outpost, which means you’ll have to create another one or put this one on the social tab.

Also, after resetting the outpost, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve activated it. Navigate to the ‘Settings’ tab to ensure your outpost is marked as Active.

Now you can go back to the main lobby and visit the Command Center. From there, you’ll be able to see that your outpost is active and when it will need refilling again.

In case you’ve refilled the GenMat and the outpost is still marked as Inactive, there are more steps you’ll need to follow.

Specifically, here are all the requirements needed to mark your outpost as Active in Meet Your Maker:

  1. Have Enough GenMats – As indicated above, it’s essential to have enough GenMats for your outpost to be active, which is achieved by refilling it.
  2. Clear and Uninterrupted Harvester Path – There needs to be at least one path in your outpost from the entrance to the GenMat inside that can be followed without any drops or jumps.

  4. Activation Slot – You can only have five outposts active at once. If you’ve got more than five, you’ll need to set one as inactive.

And that’s all. Once your outpost fulfills these four requirements, it will be active.
