One-armed is one of the unique characters in Brotato. Using one-armed increases the player’s attack speed by 200% while also buffing all damage modifications by 100%.
However, as hinted by the name, one-armed can only use one weapon, instead of six like other characters. Thus, players have to be very picky regarding the weapon they’ll use.

In this guide, I will explain the best one-armed weapon build in Brotato.
Best Weapon for One-Armed

Weapon builds for one-armed are fairly limited, primarily because players are only allowed to carry one weapon. However, the damage and attack speed bonuses make one-armed very strong, especially early in the game.
Specifically, one-armed can shine with any ranged gun, but especially with the following three (in no particular order).
- Shredder
- SMG
- Shotgun
All these weapons allow players to take advantage of one-armed’s attack speed and damage bonuses to crush through the early levels.
Nevertheless, one-armed’s damage falls off significantly during the later waves, since he doesn’t have other weapon choices and his gameplay is one-dimensional.
Best Upgrades for One-Armed
For upgrades, players will want to focus on damage increases to take advantage of one-armed’s damage modification buff. This includes overall damage and ranged damage, as well as crit rate and crit damage.
Some great items include the injection (+7% damage, -2 max hp), the scope (+2 ranged damage, +25 range, -7% attack speed), the ritual (+6% damage, +2% life steal, -2 engineering), and the cyberball (chance to deal extra damage when an enemy dies).
Great upgrades include fingers (crit rate), shoulders (ranged damage), triceps (damage), and nose (luck).
Also, it’s better to avoid any upgrades giving attack speed. Since one-armed starts with 200% attack speed, any extra upgrades are going to make a significantly small difference to the point where it’s not even noticeable.
Best Build for One-Armed
Ranged weapons and stacking upgrades that give extra damage is currently the best build for one-armed. While its defensive stats are fairly limited, the damage capabilities are insanely high.
With this build, players will be able to one-shot most of the common enemies, while also melting the bosses with relative ease.
In addition, a weapon like the shredder with cyberballs equipped will destroy hordes of enemies quickly.
Lastly, to be on the safer side, players can opt for some defensive upgrades like armor, max hp, or hp regeneration. For instance, sad tomato is a great item for one-armed since it gives him all the hp regeneration that he needs.
Conclusion
To sum up, this is the best build for one-armed in Brotato. It focuses on utilizing the characters’ buffs by using ranged guns that work with attack speed and combining them with as many damage increases as possible.
