The autobuild feature is an essential mechanic in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that allows players to create any device they want by using Zonaite and Zonai Parts.
To save builds in TotK, create any build you want via the autobuild feature. Then, from your history, mark it as a favorite and you’ll be able to recreate it anywhere.

How to Unlock the Autobuild Ability in TotK

The best part about Autobuild in TotK is that you can unlock it right after starting the game without having to progress any quests.
Head south from Lookout Landing, just below the Exchange Ruins location, there is a Launch Tower there. Fly south and aim for the Great Plateau North Chasm location.
There will be a giant hole in the floor and you’ll need to fall through to reach The Depths. Make sure to have Brightbloom Seeds to light up the area around you.
Attach the wheels to the cart platform, and then also add the steering wheel to create a quick vehicle.
Head straight towards a lit-up building, which is the Great Abandoned Central Mine. Interact with the Steward Construct that’s near the entrance and you’ll unlock autobuild in TotK.
How to Save Builds & Autobuild in TotK
To save builds in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, access the autobuild feature from the quick menu and start experimenting.
Once you build something you like, you can find it in the History menu. There, you can favorite and save the build, so that it can be used later.
Now you can access and build the device you saved anywhere, at the cost of Zonaite.
Keep in mind that you can save up on Zonaite if you have Zonai parts in your inventory. Drop the parts on the ground and drag the device blueprint on the parts.

To summarize, players can unlock autobuild by heading south from Lookout Landing and reaching The Depths right after starting the game.
Then, they can use the autobuild feature to create various devices and save these builds by marking them as favorites from the menu. With this, they will be able to recreate the devices anywhere, as long as they have enough materials.
