How to Defeat Hinox in TotK
Hinox are characterized by their slow movement but heavy attacks. Due to that, players will need to come equipped with a strong melee weapon and a strong bow.
To defeat a Hinox in TotK, approach it from behind while crouching and you’ll be able to get next to it. Then, start attacking with your melee weapon to deal as much damage as possible before it gets up.
While you won’t get the Sneakstrike bonus, you’ll be able to take down a solid percentage of its HP.
When the Hinox gets up, move back quickly and take out your bow. Keep attacking the Hinox from afar and never let it get close to you.
Keep shooting and moving, and you’ll be able to take the Hinox down easily and without risk, even if it takes some extra time.
Also, when you see the Hinox’s blue eye, aim at it with your bow. Hitting it will deal significant damage to the Hinox and stun it temporarily.
With all these tips, you’ll be able to take it down with ease.

After defeating it, you can expect the following rewards from a Hinox:

Keep in mind that you won’t get all these drops from one Hinox. Instead, the average is one fruit drop and one body part drop.
