In short, the only employees you can hire at the moment are cashiers, and you can have up to four of them. In the near future, more employees will be added to restock items and allow the store to run without you having to do anything.

How to Hire More Workers in Supermarket Simulator
To hire workers in Supermarket Simulator, access the PC and head to the hiring tab on top. Then, select the employee you want to hire, and that’s all. Once you hire them, they’ll show up on their post and start working immediately.
Keep in mind that you can’t unlock employees the second you start the game. Instead, you must progress through the game first, as each employee has specific requirements. Here are all the employees available to hire at the moment and their requirements:

However, there are more chores available in the store, and you’ll need more than cashiers. The second most important task is restocking items.
Can You Have Workers to Restock Items?
Unfortunately, at the moment, you cannot hire employees other than cashiers, and you will have to restock items manually.
As a result, you cannot fully automate the process of the store and will need to keep an eye out to see which items go out of stock and replace them quickly. If you don’t, you’ll get a penalty and lose money.
What you can buy at the moment is the storage upgrade in Supermarket Simulator. However, it doesn’t seem to have any practical benefits and only helps to make the store look tidier overall.
On the bright side, on the management screen, it says “more employees are coming soon”. We can expect the first addition to be employees that restock products that run out. What other types of employees would you like to see?
