How Romance Works in Sun Haven
To romance a character, players will need to start increasing their friendship level by giving them gifts. At first, each NPC can reach up to friendship level 10.
While progressing through the friendship levels, the NPC will ask the player to go on two dates. During the second date, the NPC will ask the player if they are interested in becoming a couple.
If the player says yes, the maximum friendship level will go from 10 to 15 for that NPC.
Then, players will need to continue going on dates as well as giving gifts until they reach friendship level 15. Then, and only then, players can propose and get married.
All Romanceable Characters in Sun Haven
You can’t marry all characters in the game. Instead, there are 15 romanceable characters and players can only date one of those. Here are all the romanceable characters in Sun Haven:

- Claude

- Donovan

- Lynn
- Nathaniel
- Vaan
- Wornhardt

Additionally, in co-op mode, players can choose to marry each other. Keep in mind that players can marry any of the above characters in Sun Haven, regardless of gender.
How to Get Married in Sun Haven
Now that you’ve chosen your preferred romanceable character and increased their friendship level to 15, let’s see how to get married in Sun Haven.
To get married, players will need to fulfill the following requirements:
- Reach friendship level 15 with the preferred character.
- Propose by gifting them the Wedding Ring (sold by Bernard for 14,300 coins).
- Not be married to any other character.
- Wait for unique dialogues to occur after reaching level 15 that indicates the character is interested in marriage (don’t instantly propose after friendship level 15).
- Talk to the character and propose.
- Wait a few in-game days until you get a response.
If the NPC accepts the proposal, the wedding will occur the next day, at 4 pm, in the area NE of the Town.
With marriage, you’ll be able to reach up to friendship level 20 with that character.
How to Get Divorced in Sun Haven
If you changed your mind and want to get divorced, you’ll have to visit the Sun Haven town hall and file for divorce there.
The process is fairly simple and players will be able to romance another character afterward.
