Alternating Currents Choice – Should you Choose Louisa or Zoe in Starfield?
At the end of the Alternating Currents quest, you will have to choose between handing the evidence to Louisa Reyez or Zoe Kaminski.
While it seems like an important decision and a key point in the story, the Alternating Currents decision in Starfield doesn’t make any major difference if you choose Zoe or Louisa. In either case, you will get 5,800 credits and 75XP.
The only thing that will change is the dialogue during the final part of the quest.
If you choose Louisa, she will appreciate you for not handing over the Evidence to Zoe and the Trade Authority. On the other hand, if you choose Zoe, she will mention that the “Trade Authority will remember what you did”.
However, even after completing the story, there doesn’t appear to be another reference to this choice. Thus, it doesn’t matter which one you choose. You will get the same rewards, a slightly different dialogue, and no impact on the story afterward.
Were you hoping for a more major choice? There are many important decisions to make in Starfield’s storyline but this isn’t one of them.
