The Golden Armor is an end-game armor set in Sons of the Forest that is required to progress the story. Additionally, it is the only armor set in the game that doesn’t have any durability and thus cannot be destroyed.
To get the Golden Armor, players will need to access a Bunker Cave on the Southeast side of the island, which requires having the VIP Keycard.
In this guide, I will explain how to get the Golden Armor and the Golden Mask in Sons of the Forest to help you progress through the story.
Keep in mind that this is an end-game activity and you’ll need to unlock items such as the Shovel and the Maintenance and VIP Keycards beforehand.
How to Get Golden Armor in Sons of the Forest
First, you will need to locate the Cave Bunker on the Southeast side of the map. It’s just east of the largest lake on the island.
Make sure you have the Maintenance and VIP Keycards on you, as this bunker will be filled with locked doors.
To find the Golden Armor in Sons of the Forest, enter the bunker and head down to Floor 2, Room 3.
There you will find the Golden Armor on a couch.

While it doesn’t offer as much protection against mutants as the Creepy and Tech armors, it’s considered one of the best armor sets in the game since it offers great protection against demons and it doesn’t lose durability at all.

How to Get Golden Mask in Sons of the Forest
Within the same bunker, you’ll be able to find the Golden Mask as well. Specifically, you’ll need to travel down to Floor 5 and enter the Morgue, which is on the left side of the main hallway.
The Golden Mask is located on top of the middle bed.

This mask is fairly useful in Sons of the Forest. Players can equip and use to prevent masked enemies from becoming aggressive. As long as you have it equipped before they attack you, they’ll leave you alone.
Lastly, make sure to explore everything you can in this bunker, as there are many more useful items in there such as the Katana.
