Similar to Ladybugs, Grasshoppers can be found all around the starting area and they are fairly common.

To unlock the Grasshopper Treat, you’ll need to craft and place a Cauldron.

To make a Cauldron, you’ll need to combine the following materials at a Stonecutter:

  • 10x Stone
  • 7x Refined Wood

With the Cauldron crafted, you’ll be able to craft Grasshopper Treats with the following materials:

  • 3x Insect Egg (Obtained by killing Ladybugs and Butterflies).
  • 1x Petal (Obtained by chopping plants like Mauve Plants which can be found near the starting area).
  • 2x Seed Oil (Get seeds by cutting down Rye and Poppies and convert Seeds into Seed Oil at a Stonecutter).

All these materials and their by-products can be found near the starting area, so make sure to use your tracking sense and you’re good to go.

Now simply damage a Grasshopper enough until it automatically consumes the treat from your inventory and you’re good to go.

The Grasshopper allows you to jump long distances without worrying about taking any fall damage. Keep in mind that Grasshoppers can drown easily, so avoid going anywhere near water.
