This is the complete walkthrough for Shards of Her, the video game developed by Soul Persona and available on Steam.
It (fortunately or unfortunately – depending on your personal opinion) has nothing to do with the Netflix series with the same name.
With these in mind, I will keep the walkthrough short and straight to the point, giving you the answers to the in-game interactions and what to do in order to successfully complete it, while also getting all the achievements along the way.
With these in mind, let’s not waste a single second and instead let’s check out the Shards of Her computer game walkthrough below!
IMPORTANT: There are major spoilers below, so read only if you want to learn about some in-game secrets.
1. Start a new game and go through the intro reading The Entity’s lines and name your character. The name you choose won’t affect the game.
2. Continue the story until your character wakes up from the dream, after meeting Hemera.
Unlock Whispered Prophecy achievement – Hemera’s cryptic words echoed, foretelling an imminent destiny.

3. It’s time to meet Emma. First, Talk to Her. Then Activate Mood Booster. Finally, choose the first option from the new dialog.
4. Go through the story, and select A bit, yes, but that’s okay! when given the chance. Then continue going through the story.
5. When given the chance, select next Don’t let her go, Touch her. Then continue reading.
Selecting the indicated answers above will also see you unlock two new achievements:
- After All, Why Not? – In the heat of the moment, a decision was made.
- Healthy Breakfast – Everyone should have a breakfast, no exception.
6. Next, your character decides to take a phone call. Here are the correct answers you should choose, in this order: The Sun, The Moon, The Dawn.
After completing this scene, you will also unlock the achievement Riddle Man – You got it right, that was easy, for now…
Then, as you continue through the story and get to the “Two days later” part, you will also unlock the achievement Here I Come! – It’s been a while since the last time.

7. Now, go through the story after meeting Nakata.
8. As the story goes and you meet the two girls, select Let them continue the show… and then It’s good to see you again…
9. Continue the story and select these options when it’s the time to choose:
- I can’t remember exactly, I think they were black?
- Do I have to? I can stay a bit longer…
- Try to compliment her, maybe?
Go through the story. As you do, you will also unlock four new achievements:
- A Night of Magic – The night before the storm.
- The Second One – One’s touch, a vision shall reveal.
- The Awakening – And so, it begins.
- Back in the Game – The power is mine once more!
10. Now it’s time to meet Omikami, a new in-game character. So choose Call for Ōmikami…
You will also unlock the achievement Call for Ōmikami – Her name lingered on your lips, prompting you to call out for her.
11. Go through the story again and when given the option, choose Ask her to stay. Then, go through the story and Take control. Continue until you get to a new set of choices.
By the way, during this time, you will unlock more achievements if you follow the answers and choices recommended in the walkthrough:
- Call for Ōmikami – Her name lingered on your lips, prompting you to call out for her.
- I Saw Her – I believe I’ve seen her after all these years…
- Join Me – Oh, how I’ve missed the comfort of company.
- Lead The Way – Demonstrate your leadership to me.
- Gone, Once Again – The cherry blossom has vanished…
- The Prophecy – It’s done, and this time, we might not escape fate…
12. There’s quite a bit of story going on, but eventually you’re back to making choices. Here is what to select next:
- Take a peek
- Are you kidding me? Damn right!
- Check out the sounds coming from Max’s room…
During this time, you will also unlock this achievement: Peek! – She couldn’t resist; she had to take a peek!
13. Go through the story and, when you have the option, make these choices:
- Turn her around
- No, continue
- Casual love
- Join them
During this time, you will unlock a final set of achievements:
- Sealed Fate – In that moment, desire claimed you.
- Echoes – All echoes fade at some time…
And this is it! You have completed the game, following the best route to my knowledge.
