To get the true ending in Sea of Stars, you will need to first complete the game on normal difficulty. After beating the game and clearing your save file, you’ll get the following message:

  • A mysterious device has appeared in the Moonlands

After finding the device, you’ll notice that it’s surrounded by pillars. You need to light all seven pillars. To get the true ending in Sea of Stars and light all seven pillars, you must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Complete all arena fights in Brisk – This B’st questline will have you challenge four arena fights.
  • Defeat the Sun Goddess
  • Complete all Sunken Ruins & defeat the Sea Slug
  • Complete all Solstice Shrines and defeat the boss in the Mountain Trail portal – There are five Solstice Shrines in total.
  • Find all 60 Rainbow Conches and give them to the trader at Lake Docarria.
  • Complete all buildings in Mirth – Give Conch shells to Mirna to get plans as a reward. After 39 Conches, you will have all four building plans needed. Then, you’ll need to travel to four locations and look for four NPCs that will run the town (Lake Docarri Village – Merchant, Mooncradle dining room – Fisherman, Stonemason’s Outpost – Chi, Town of Lucent – Edgar).
