How to Get the Bright Steel Ring in Remnant 2
To get the Bright Steel Ring in Remnant 2, complete 15 different biomes on any difficulty while focusing only on the main story and being the host. Then, you can buy the ring from Reggie’s shop in Ward 13.
This means that you’ll need to enter 15 different biomes and kill the bosses at the end. You don’t need to go through the adventure part of each world and can completely avoid dungeons. Story mode is ideal as you just need to follow the quest marker.
The most important thing is to do this in your own world, where you are the host. It can be done in co-op but will only count if you are the host.
In my experience, the fastest biomes to complete are the final bosses in Yaesha. Even in adventure mode, each will take only a few minutes to complete and there are six of them.
As long as you’ve done that, the ring will be available for purchase in Reggie’s shop in Ward 13 in exchange for 500 Scrap.
Bright Steel Ring Effect & Best Build
Once equipped, the Bright Steel Ring has the following effect in Remnant 2:
- Give the wearer the fastest evade roll regardless of their Armor Encumbrance.
This means that regardless of your weight and encumbrance, you’ll have a light roll whenever dodging. Thus, you can equip the strongest heavy armor in the game like the Leto Mark II armor set without having to spend any trait points on Strong Back.
This is an ideal ring if you want to equip a heavy armor set without having to sacrifice your dodge roll.
