2023 Phasmophobia Halloween Event Explained

The Phasmophobia Halloween 2023 event is expected to be released on the 26th of October and will include the following changes and events:

  • Spooky Cauldron in the middle of the Maple Lodge Campsite map
  • Spooky Recipes around other locations
  • Seasonal ID Card Badge & Trophy reward for creating the new recipes in the Cauldron

Overall, the main point of attraction in this new event is going to be the Maple Lodge Campsite location.

First, head to every map with a pumpkin sticker on it and interact with the pumpkin there. Each map will mention one of the ingredients you need for the final recipe. However, you can skip this step as I’ll list all ingredients below.

To complete the Halloween Event, you will need to locate all the recipe ingredients, which can be found on the Maple Lodge map, and place them in the Cauldron. Here are all the Phasmophobia Halloween event cauldron recipe items:

  • Flog Plushie – In the new reception building, on a shelf above the main desk
  • Jar of Mind – Brain in a jar that’s located in the new reception building, on a small table next to the couch
  • Three Sacks of Beans – Found in a tent next to the Cauldron; both the blue and the red ones will do
  • Two Eyes of Bear – Just behind the tent with the beans, you’ll find a bathroom with the Two Eyes of Bear in a bathroom sink
  • Screaming Skull – In campsite B, on a log outside
  • Love Blossom – Find the two skeletons sitting near the pier and pick up the flower from the right one’s hand
  • Bowl of Greens – In the cabin next to the pier, on the kitchen counter
  • Death’s Rot – In a storage area, find a wooden box that’s been broken down and has fallen apples all around it. Pick up any of the three rotten apples, which is Death’s Rot
  • Flashlight – Use any of your flashlight’s and throw it in the Cauldron

With everything added to the Cauldron, simply leave through the truck and you’ll get the trophy.

Maple Lodge Campsite Rework

Other than the seasonal decoration, this map is also receiving a few changes to increase performance and block long line-of-sight areas where the ghost could spot you from across the map.

Additionally, there is a new reception building and a reworked storage area to allow for more hiding spots across the map. Also, it’s significantly darker compared to before, which is fitting for the Halloween theme.

Halloween Event Rewards

Once you find a recipe and craft your spooky concoction in the Cauldron at Maple Lodge Campsite, you will progress the Halloween 2023 Phasmophobia event.

As you progress through the event, you will earn a Halloween-themed ID card badge with spooky pumpkins on it, as well as a Trophy that can be added to your collection.

Wrapping up

To summarize this Phasmophobia Halloween 2023 update guide, the main theme of this event is the large spooky Cauldron in the middle of the Maple Lodge Campsite map.

Find recipes in various other locations and craft them in the Cauldron to earn your own event-themed ID card and trophy.
