Merge Arena Tier List: Best Cards in the Game [Updated]

Based on the latest game updates, this tier list will rank all the cards in the game, so you know which ones to focus on and build a deck around.

Overall, at the moment, the best cards in Merge Arena are Draco, Kitsune, Tech Golem, The Griffon, and Treant.

Note: Future updated might boost/nerf some cards, but currently these are the best. Now let’s get a bit more in-depth and check out the full rankings!

Merge Arena S-Tier Cards

Merge-Arena-Tier-List-Best-Cards-in-the-Game-S-Tier-Cards

S-tier cards are exceptional cards with high win rates, and they overshadow the rest of the cards you can use in the game.

These cards are versatile and can be used in a wide variety of decks, as long as you can get them. Here are the top five, currently:

  • Draco
  • Kitsune
  • Tech Golem
  • The Griffon
  • Treant

Let’s go a little more in-depth about the best cards.

  • Draco: Draco can cover the whole map, and does incredible damage over time.
  • Kitsune: Kitsune is an excellent damage dealer, with both high AOE damage and damage over time. She also has excellent debuffing capabilities.
  • Tech Golem: Tech Golem is an incredible tank, that can deal a lot of AOE damage upon getting hit.
  • The Griffon: The Griffon is an excellent unit that focuses on single-target damage that can stun the target, and also shock the surrounding enemies, allowing players to mitigate the damage they could take.
  • Treant: The Treant is one of the best cards you can get. It may not appear so in the beginning, but once you get it, you will not remove it from your team ever again.

Merge Arena A-Tier Cards

A-tier cards can be strong, but they still fall behind the S-tier cards. However, they should not be underestimated.

Since you may have a hard time getting the S-tier cards, you should definitely use the A-tier even if you feel they might not fit. You also have a larger pool to choose from:

  • Aqua
  • Boaris
  • Crystallix
  • Druid
  • Electric Mage
  • Gorgon
  • Jester
  • Nightmare
  • Plague Doctor
  • Rocky
  • Slime
  • Snoozamander
  • Monkey King
  • Paladin
  • Valkyrie
  • Warlock
  • Witch Doctor

Merge Arena B-Tier Cards

B-tier cards are situational and work best as part of a deck with a plan behind it. They are not cards you can splash in thinking that they can hold their own with just what they can do.

  • Angel
  • Crusader
  • Duckwing
  • Evil Eye
  • Gearhead
  • Genie
  • Lava Girl
  • Lich
  • Mako
  • Mummy Warrior
  • Nightmare
  • Succubus
  • Totem
  • Trickster
  • Vampire
  • Viking

Merge Arena C-Tier Cards

C-tier cards have really niche uses and are generally not used. Use them cautiously if you like them as cards.

  • Bastion
  • Buddy
  • Executioner
  • Franken
  • Gunslinger
  • Samurai
  • The Gambler

Merge Arena D-Tier Cards

D-tier cards are the most basic cards that don’t offer anything good enough to be part of any deck or consideration.

Most of them will help in the early game, but the moment you get something stronger, you will replace them.

  • Arachne
  • Axe Thrower
  • Cannoneer
  • Fairy
  • Huntress
  • Minotaur
  • Saboteur

Keep in mind that Merge Arena is getting constant updates, and many new cards are promised to be released in the future. But rarely the S-tier cards (or the A-tier ones) are nerfed so heavily that they become useless, so focusing on the top ones at the moment is still a good idea.
