The Swordsman is one of the two classes available to the Warrior upon reaching level 50 and it focuses mostly on tanking. With high HP and survivability, you’ll be able to withstand any attack and be the perfect front-line unit.
Let’s go through the best Swordsman build in Legend of Mushroom to help you get started with everything, including traits, skills, and pals.
Best Swordsman Skills

Starting with active skills, here are the best Swordsman skills, listed in priority order:
- Nature’s Renewal: Deal 1775% DMG to the target and recover 30% of max HP within 5 secs. Also Base HP, ATK, and DEF +8% (25s CD)
- Grim Reaper: Summon Ghosts that deal 1443% DMG and instantly defeat any enemy with less than 5% HP. Also Base HP, ATK, and DEF +32% (9s CD)
- Disarm: Deal 2682% AoE DMG and disarm every target hit for 3 seconds. Also Base HP, ATK, and DEF +32% (16s CD)
- Heroic Descent: Summon a Hero Spirit with 3 Attack Speed. This Spirit deals 148% DMG with each attack for 10 seconds and cannot be targeted by enemies. Also Base HP, ATK, and DEF +32%. (19s CD)
Nature’s Renewal is overall your most important early-game skill, as it will increase damage and survivability. Then, the other three options will grant you the necessary DPS and execute mechanics to take down any enemy in your path.

Best Swordsman Traits and Pals
The most important trait for the Swordsman is Regeneration. In a class that focuses on having high HP and survivability, regeneration will allow you to stay alive for significantly longer periods of time.
Secondarily, opt for Counterstrike and Evasion, as they will further increase survivability and grant some extra DPS.
Lastly, in terms of Pals, I recommend anything that increases Counter or Regeneration. For instance, the Ultra-Clean Fighter and the Warlord Hydrosprite are great options.
To summarize, the best Swordsman build in Legend of Mushroom focuses on creating a durable tank that’s able to stand in the frontline, endure any attack, and continuously regenerate HP.
With enough counterstrike stats, you’ll be able to also deal some considerable DPS. Keep in mind that this isn’t a DPS class, so your damage will be overall lower than other options.
