Once you first build a Workshop, it will have four extractor slots. After selecting it, you can see its exact capacity on the left side, where it says ‘Extractor Slots’.
Additionally, you can see it when trying to build an extractor, as it will say on the left how many extractors you have currently and how many you can make (e.g., 4/4).
How to Build More Extractors in Steamworld Build
To build more Extractors in Steamworld Build, select the Workshop you want to upgrade. Then, click and drag to expand it.
As you drag and select the new expansion area, before you release the click, you can see exactly how many more workshop slots you’re getting (e.g., 4+2).
