Cursed Tomb Treasure Quest Guide in Hogwarts Legacy

The “Cursed Tomb Treasure” is a sidequest located on the southwest side of the map and requires Alohomora level 1 to complete.

This quest is split into two parts. First, players will need to find the map fragment, and then they’ll have to use the map fragment to locate the cursed treasure. Let’s examine both parts in turn.

How to Find the Map Fragment in Manor Glen

First, players will be tasked to “open the locked chest under the old manor in Manor Glen”. For this part, travel to the West Manor Cape Floo Flame. Mount your broom and go up until you reach the highest point of the nearby cliff.

Locate a small temple with a statue in front and use Confringo or Incendio to light its bonfire.

Use Confringo at the bonfire in front of the statue to unlock a hidden door.

Then, interact with the pedestal to enter the basement of Manor Glen.

Defeat the two infamous foes there and use Alohomora on the nearby chest to pick up the map fragment.

How to Use the Mysterious Map Fragment to Find the Treasure

For the second part of this quest, you will be tasked to “Use the Mysterious Map Fragment to find the treasure”.

Travel to the Tomb of Treachery Floo Flame and enter the nearby tomb. This tomb will have multiple spiders and a butterfly door puzzle.

Let’s see how to solve this puzzle.

How to Solve the Butterfly Door Puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy

Right after entering the tomb, you will notice a door with three butterflies missing from it. You will need to find them in the surrounding area.

While looking at the main door, go through the door on its right. There will be two butterflies there, with one of them being hidden behind a cobweb. Use Confingo to destroy the cobweb and then Lumos to guide both butterflies to the door.

The third butterfly will be on the passage on the left side of the main door. Use Confringo to destroy the cobwebs on your right and then use Wingardium Leviosa to move the box.

Place the box next to this wall and lift it to get up.

Place it in front of the wall and use Levioso on it to climb over it. The third and final butterfly will be up there. Guide it to the door and you’ll unlock the next and final puzzle of this quest.

How to Solve the Arrow Floor Key Puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy

For the last part, you’ll notice eight stone tiles on the floor. You can use Flipendo on each of them to turn them upside down and reveal an arrow.

Flip one tile to see the direction the arrows are looking toward and stand directly behind them.

Then, use Flippendo on the bottom right, bottom left, and top middle tiles to solve the puzzle.
