Where to Find Scout Striders
To find Scout Striders, visit any Automaton-controlled planet. These are on the far left side of the map, in red-colored areas.
Just keep in mind that Scout Striders only spawn if you’re on Medium difficulty or above. If you’re below that, they won’t show up at all.

How to Defeat Scout Striders in Helldivers 2
To defeat Scout Striders in Helldivers 2, you must either shoot their legs or go around them and shoot the pilot in the back.
If you decide to go for the legs method, you’ll need to either use an entire magazine or a grenade.
Alternatively, you can shoot the pilot located at the back of the Strider. This can be done either by going around it or by using a scoped sniper rifle and an elevated platform from the front.
This is easier done if you’re playing with others since the Strider will be focused on the one player while the other flanks. If your group isn’t online at the moment, you can always play Helldivers 2 with randoms.
Unfortunately, shooting or damaging any other part of their body will do very little damage to the point where you’re just wasting ammo.
