Are you looking for the best build in God of Weapons? Here’s how to create the most optimal loadout without having to use lifesteal.
While there are many great builds in the game, the best one uses the Barbarian class with the Sickle item and the Halberd weapon. This is a scaling build that will make you unkillable as you progress in the game.
Let’s go through each part of this build in further detail.
Best Starting Class & Equipment
The best class in God of Weapons for this build is the Barbarian/Berserker. The goal is to create a build that combines high damage and survivability without having to rely on lifesteal.
In terms of starting equipment, feel free to select any weapon you want (I recommend Claw or Fists) while making sure to select the Shackle item.
Best God of Weapons Build
As you start your run and get the chance to upgrade gear and equipment, prioritize getting the Halberd weapon since its armor trait will make you practically unkillable as you progress in the game.
In terms of items, the following options are recommended:
- Belts
- Gauntlets
- Vambraces
These all require only one block in your inventory and help improve Halberd’s ability.
As for playstyle, your main goal is to scale. First, aim to keep your HP around 50%, buy any items that you can to utilize the Shackle’s effect, and buy inventory spaces whenever you can afford it.
Also, don’t forget to buy shields since they’ll allow you to tank an extra hit. If possible, upgrade to the Fancy Sword for the extra buff.
Now, keep scaling and buying items. Eventually, you’ll reach the point where you’re able to stand still in the middle of the arena and kill any enemy and boss effortlessly.
For this guide, we thank Steam user Mikorix Zarkal and his Steam guide on a build that doesn’t use the lifesteal mechanic. If you enjoyed reading this, consider checking out their guide here and leaving a rating.
Wrapping up
To summarize, the best God of Weapons build uses the Barbarian class, the Sickle item, and the Halberd weapon.
Your goal is to survive early and scale once you start buying items. In the end, you’ll have a character that won’t be able to die and can stand still in the middle of the map while killing any enemy and boss that comes their way.
