Genshin Impact: How to Defeat the Jadeplume Terrorshroom [Full Guide]

The Jadeplume Terrorshroom is one of the two world bosses introduced with Genshin Impact’s 3.0 update.

It can be found in Sumeru and drops materials necessary for ascending Collei and other Dendro characters.

If you’re farming this boss to build a Dendro team, consider checking my guide on the three best Dendro reaction teams in 3.0.

In this guide, I’ll explain how to find the Jadeplume Terrorshroom in Genshin Impact, how to defeat it, and what kind of drops to expect from it.

Jadeplume Terrorshroom Location

Jadeplume Terrorshroom map location in Genshin Impact.

Jadeplume Terrorshroom is located in the top-left corner of Sumeru. However, similar to Electro Hypostasis, players will need to enter its lair via a portal found there.

After going through the portal the first time, there will be a teleport within the boss’ lair. You can use that for future teleports to avoid using the portal again.

How to Defeat the Jadeplume Terrrorshroom

Fighting the Jadeplume Terrorshroom can be fairly straightforward and can be brute-forced with shields/heals. However, there are some tips and tricks to make your life easier.

The best tip is to play around the boss’ fury bar. Electro attacks increase its fury, while Pyro attacks reduce it. The best option is to use Electro attacks until you max the boss’ fury bar.

When maxed, Jadeplume Terrrorshroom will do some dangerous but dodgeable attacks. However, right after these attacks, it will get temporarily stunned. Similar to the Regisvine bosses, as long as it gets stunned, it’s easy to clean up the fight afterward.

Jadeplume Terrorshroom Drops

Jadeplume Terrorshroom’s drops are fairly similar to other bosses, with the exception of Dendro materials. Here’s everything you can get after defeating this boss:

  • Adventure & Companion EXP
  • Mora
  • Nagadus Emerald Drops
  • Majestic Hooked Beaks
  • Gladiator, Wanderer’s Troupe, Instructor, and Berserker artifacts

Both Tighnari and Collei use majestic Hooked Beaks as ascension materials. If you’re planning to get them to max level, you’ll need to fight the Jadeplume Terrorshroom multiple times.

Conclusion

Jadeplume Terrorshroom is Genshin Impact’s latest addition in terms of world bosses. While it doesn’t have any special mechanics that you need to be wary of, there are ways to make the fight easier.

Your best bet is to bring an Electro character, fill the boss’ fury bar, and wait until it gets stunned. After that, burst it down and that’s it!
