Dredge: Twisted Strand General Information

Dredge-Where-to-Find-Catfish-Twisted-Strand

The Twisted Strand consists of a Mangrove Forest with large trees, vines, and roots sprawling from island to island. It is located from D12 to G15, on the map, in Dredge.

It is the home of the Catfish, and its Aberration the Nightwing Catfish, among other species of fish.

It is the only location in the game where brackish and freshwater fish can be caught. The Twisted Strand is littered with the wreckage of biplanes.

Also, players will be able to find Dog Tags left behind by the fallen crews who fell victim to the hostile environment.

It looks unsettling and reminds players of swampy biomes from other games. Its appearance is good enough to guard players once they first enter, but luckily it’s difficult to become panicked here.

The only enemies will face are Mind Suckers, who are easy to avoid, and they can be banished as well. If players find themselves with high Panic in this area, Vines will attack the ship.

Despite the lack of enemies, the Twisted Strand’s natural terrain is perhaps the most cramped of any other island, and it can be highly dangerous if you aren’t careful.

Now that you know what to expect while exploring the Twisted Strand in Dregde, let’s go over how to find the Catfish and its aberration the Nightwing Catfish.
