Colony Ship Companions List & How to Recruit Them

Are you looking for a list of all Colony Ship companions as well as information on how to recruit them? Here’s everything you should know.

In total, there are eight companions in Colony Ship and you can’t unlock all of them in the same playthrough.

Evans

To recruit Evans, progress the main quest until you reach Abe’s General Store and you’ll find him there.

Help him with the thugs by convincing them to leave or defeating them and Evans will agree to join you right after.

Faythe

If you want to recruit Faith in Colony Ship, head to Camptown and find Earl next to a ‘JOBS’ sign. Complete the first mission given by Chance and then you’ll get a second one given by Faythe.

Once you complete Faythe’s mission in any way, Faythe will join your party.

Jed

To unlock Jed, progress the main story until you find the Whiskey Jack bar. Once there, talk to the bartender and start his quest.

Now, head next to the Outskirts entrance and look for a large container with ‘Forest Mews’ written on it. Open this container and will find Jed inside. Complete the quest and he’ll join your party.

Mathias, Cobra, and Garret

Progress the main story until you obtain the Machine. To unlock Mathias, you must give the Machine to the Church faction.

Instead, you can unlock Cobra by giving the Machine to the Protectors faction, or you can recruit Garret by giving it to the Brotherhood faction.

Just keep in mind that you can only unlock one of these three characters on each playthrough.

Knurl and Harbinger

The last Colony Ship companions are Knurl and Harbinger. You can unlock Knurl by completing the first five battles in The Courthouse Chapter 1.

Alternatively, if you complete the first three battles in Chapter 3 instead, you’ll recruit Harbinger.

Just like the previous three characters, you can only get one of these two characters per playthrough.
