Best Weapon for Cryptid in Brotato

The Cryptid can be played with a variety of weapons and do well, as long as we’re talking about melee weapons.

Since the build I’ll recommend focuses on increasing Critical Chance and Damage, the best weapon for the Cryptid is the Thief Dagger.

The Thief Dagger’s passive gives players a 50% chance to gain 1 material when killing an enemy with a critical hit. Combined with the Cryptid’s passive that increases Harvesting based on living trees, you’ll be able to get a lot of materials quickly.

Also, by having more Thief Daggers, which count as Precise weapons, you’ll get increased Crit Chance (up to 15% for six Thief Daggers).

Best Upgrades for Cryptid in Brotato

In terms of upgrades, you should prioritize Melee Damage and Critical Chance. This will maximize the efficiency of your Thief Dagger and allow you to deal as much damage as possible.

Secondary stats include HP, Life Steal, and Attack Speed. Avoid the Lumberjack Shirt at all costs.

Optionally, you can consider increasing Luck so that in the later stages of the game, you can chop down trees and get some solid rewards.

Overall, the best build for the Cryptid in Brotato involves keeping all the trees alive and utilizing their buffs at least during the early game. With enough melee damage and attack speed, you’ll be able to take down any enemy with ease.

If you’re struggling to stay alive, consider picking up some HP upgrades.

Later on, you can consider taking the trees down if you’ve unlocked enough upgrades from the shop to increase the materials gained.

Wrapping up

In conclusion, this is the best Cryptid build in Brotato. With enough Melee Damage and Critical Strike, you’ll be able to cruise through the early stages with ease.

Then, all the extra materials gained from the living trees will allow you to have the best gear possible during the later stages.

  1. “Secondary stats include HP, Life Steal, and Attack Speed.”

Huh? The Cryptid has -100% Life Steal. So you’d waste 100% of Life Steal in gold just to get to 0% Life Steal.

Better to go for effects that boost and benefit from HP Regen.
