Ball x Pit: All Passive Evolutions (Combinations)

Passive evolutions in Ball X Pit are quickly becoming fan-favorites because they reward lazy play. Well… not really, but having some solid passives perfectly complements your game, and I already have a few favorites.

I am sure you will have some too, after checking out this list of all the passive evolutions in the game. I already shared it in the previously published article listing ALL the evolutions in Ball x Pit, but for those who don’t want to go through the entire list, this one that only lists the passives should do the trick.

So, here they are, including their effects, listed in alphabetical order:

Cornucopia

How to get: Baby Rattle × War Horn

Effect: Each time baby balls are created, there’s a chance to spawn 0-1 additional baby balls. A reliable pick for minion-heavy or Egg Sac-based builds.

Deadeye’s Cross

How to get: Diamond Hilted Dagger × Emerald Hilted Dagger × Ruby Hilted Dagger × Sapphire Hilted Dagger

Effect: Increases your critical hit chance to 60%. Ideal for high-damage builds that rely on burst or precision strikes.

Gracious Impaler

How to get: Reacher’s Spear × Deadeye’s Amulet

Effect: Critical hits have a 5% chance to instantly kill enemies.

Odiferous Shell

How to get: Breastplate × Wretched Onion

Effect: When you touch enemies, they have a 50% chance to instantly die.

Phantom Regalia

How to get: Ethereal Cloak × Ghostly Corset

Effect: Balls pass through enemies until they hit the back wall, dealing 50% extra damage to every target they pass through.

Soul Reaver

How to get: Everflowing Goblet × Vampiric Sword

Effect: Each kill heals you by 1 HP. You can heal past your maximum health, though overflow healing works at only 30% efficiency.

Tormentor’s Mask

How to get: Crown of Thorns × Spiked Collar

Effect: Enemies have a 10% chance to instantly die the first time they detect you.

Wings of the Anointed

How to get: Fleet Feet × Radiant Feather

Effect: Increases ball speed by 40% and player movement speed by 20%. You also become immune to all ground hazards.

These are the eight passives in the game – some are better than the others, but also more difficult to get. Experiment with them, as well as the active evolutions, until you find something that fits your play style.

If you need some help deciding, I have a Ball x Pit tier list of all the evolutions, including a “top 10 evolutions” section, including some passives. Either way, it’s a perfect place to begin better understanding these combinations and what to aim for.

Finally, don’t hesitate to check out my Ball x Pit guide, which is filled with tips and tricks that will help you do better in the game – and it includes a lot more than just evolutions.

Now, over to you: which is your favorite passive and how do you use it (or them) to maximize their potential?
