If you want to make Patricia, the daring archer-turned-alchemist, absolutely unstoppable, you’re at the right place! Today, I will share the best build for Patricia in Atelier Ryza 3.
Living the life of a normal student, she comes back after leaving at the end of AR2, looking for a recommendation letter or the academy from Tao.
By the time I finished this build, her damage numbers made me feel like a kid in a candy store. In this guide, I’ll walk you through every step – weapon, armor, accessories, traits, even skill rotation and farming tips – so you can truly get the most out of her in Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key.

Who Patricia Is (And Why You’ll Love Her)
Patricia “Patty” Abelheim is Ryza’s rival and also a glass-cannon striker with surprising support utility once you start stacking crits and attack buffs. She’s a great choice if you enjoy characters that reward precise timing and alchemical resource management.
As far as team setup goes, in Ryza 3’s five-member party system, she thrives in the frontline trio, dealing huge damage on her turn and benefiting from your backline buffs.
Now let’s move on and see how to turn her into the team’s critical-hit engine that she can be!
My Patricia Build at a Glance
Before we get into the weeds, here’s what we’re aiming for:
- Weapon: Efflorescence with White Light Illuminating Darkness (Crit Rate ↑ + ATK Boost on Crit)
- Armor: Armanoir Armor (HP regen, damage reduction, spell stun immunity)
- Accessories: Harnal Ring + Four Spirits Amulet (massive item damage & elemental boost)
- Traits: Mana Heat, Supercooling, Remnant of Eternity, Skill Charge++ (or Lone Wolf)
- Super Trait: Rakshasa (or Berserker’s Spirit)
- Key Mechanic: Link Morph mark of Aggression → Crit Damage
Another important feature that I want to mention is Link Morph. Link Morph is an incredibly useful feature making the most insane items even more broken, making sure you don’t get any effects you don’t want, and it is also used to unlock some new recipes. It has its niche uses but in those niche uses it’s incredibly potent.
Ultimate Weapon
Patricia’s ultimate weapon is the Efflorescence. The reason you want to build this weapon for her is to increase the critical rate and stack the ATK increase.
Link morph the mark of Aggression to critical damage increase and fill it with Grand Orgens. Then rebuild the weapon to max out the main effect of White Light Illuminating Darkness.
White Light Illuminating Darkness increases critical rate, and critical hits increase your own attack.
When it comes to traits you will want to use Mana Heat, Supercooling, and Remnant of Eternity. Now for the last trait, there is a big caveat when picking which one to get.
- If you plan to control Patty manually and use skills, you will want to use Skill Charge++.
- If you want her to be controlled by the AI, you will want to use Lone Wolf for more AP generation.
When it comes to the Super Trait, it has to be Rakshasa. This drastically increases the damage in exchange for making you weak to all elements. A suitable, but not as good secondary option, will be Berserker’s Spirit.
Lastly, when reinforcing, you should really think about your party. You definitely want a character to have Illuminating Scale. This ensures enemies will never get to keep buffs while extending the debuffs when you attack normally. This comes from Imperial Fish.
If another character already has Illuminating Scale in your party, then you should have these two effects and increase any stat you want or feel is lacking.
- Presto comes from Energianica. It gives you extra magical damage on hit per attack. It also has the added effect that it does more damage the more AP you have.
- War Song XL comes from War Powder. This increases your critical hit chance, and pretty much ensures that you will always deal critical hits.
This is the best weapon for Patricia, in Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key.
Best Armor and Accessories
Patricia, unlike Ryza and Empel, won’t be using much when it comes to items. That means that you will give her armor that capitalizes on her other strengths. That is the Armanoir armor.
Not going to lie, but this armor pretty much makes the person it is equipped on invincible.
You do not want to Link Morph any of the effects on this armor, because its base effects are amazing as is, for what you want it to do.
- Increases Max HP
- Reduces damage at full HP
- Disables stun damage
- Reduces physical damage taken
- Recovers HP every turn
- Further reduces damage
For traits, there isn’t much selection for armor pieces. I suggest Stats Charge++, ATK & DEF Charge++, and finally HP Charge++.
For super traits, Lion Rush is about the best thing you have available.
Now looking at accessories, you have two slots to fill. For the super trait use either Reincarnation or Healing Waltz. You want both of these on your accessories.
- Reincarnation will auto-revive you when you die 1 time per battle.
- Healing Waltz gives everybody an extra 20% HP in battle (it stacks between party members giving a massive HP boost)
For your first accessory, you will be using the Harnal Ring. It’s amazing how much of a damage boost this gives to items, and you can get it to have pretty damn high stats as well. For traits, use Stats Charge++, Atk & Spd Charge++, and Atk & SPD Charge+.
For your second accessory, you will want to use the Four Spirits Amulet for a massive elemental damage increase. For traits, it’s the same as the first accessory. Have the Stats Charge++, Atk & Spd Charge++, and Atk & SPD Charge+ traits.
