Ryza is our main protagonist in Atelier Ryza 3. After three adventures Ryza is ready to take on the world and show them what she is made of. To be more precise, she is ready to equip the most overpowered items and destroy everything with ease.
In this guide, I will go over the best endgame Ryza build, in Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key. I will go over all the necessary information to make Ryza, the most overpowered main character you ever had.
One mechanic I would like to point out before diving into this is the Link Morph.
Link Morph is an incredibly useful feature making the most insane items even more broken, making sure you don’t get any effects you don’t want, and it is also used to unlock some new recipes. It has its niche uses but in those niche uses it’s incredibly potent.

Atelier Ryza 3: Ryza Ultimate Weapon
Ryza’s ultimate weapon is the Mistral Cane. The main focus of this weapon is how broken the Antimaterial skill is. You will want to Link Morph the mark of assistance to an item boost skill.
You’re not going to get very high stats on this weapon though. It may appear counterintuitive, but the traits you want to have on the weapon are Risk Boost Fire/Ice/Air/Bolt.
For traits, I suggest Risk Boost Fire, Ice, and Bolt. Ignore Risk Boost Air, as the best item has the fire and ice element, and you will add lightning damage to it.
These traits can’t be put onto anything other than weapons. Each of these traits when capped will increase your damage with that element by 50%, but reduce your resistance to these elements.
With all three on the weapon, you can increase the damage of your final attack item by 150% and deal massive damage with no buffs or debuffs. In order to get these traits I strongly suggest using seeds.
Do not get the seed to S rank and do not get the rare gather rate up. You however do want trait level up XXL though. I would also suggest water seeds for this weapon.
When it comes to Super Traits, use Rakshasa. This drastically increases the damage in exchange for making you weak to all elements. It also boosts item damage. This increase is exceptional, and well worth having on Ryza.
When reinforcing, add the effects Four-Color Feather XL from Mystic Veil, and Unchanging Form from the Ancient Bug. The third material can just boost whatever stat you want.
This is the best weapon for Ryza, in Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key.
Atelier Ryza 3: Ryza Best Armor and Accessories
When it comes to armor for item users it is pretty straightforward as to what your characters will want to use.
This armor is above and beyond the best equipment for anybody who you use items with. In our case, that means Ryza, and it will massively increase your damage. The armor I am talking about is going to be the Kruger Cloak.
For traits, there isn’t much selection for armor pieces. I suggest Stats Charge++, ATK & DEF Charge++, and finally HP Charge++.
For super traits ultimately it’s up to the player, and what you need more. I would like to point out Lion Rush. This super trait gives a small 30-point reduction to defense but gives an 80-stat boost to attack and speed. Another riskier option will be Prepare for Death.
Now looking at accessories, you have two slots to fill. For the super trait use either Reincarnation or Healing Waltz. You want both of these on your accessories.
- Reincarnation will auto-revive you when you die 1 time per battle.
- Healing Waltz gives everybody an extra 20% HP in battle (it stacks between party members giving a massive HP boost)
For your first accessory, you will be using the Harnal Ring. It’s amazing how much of a damage boost this gives to items, and you can get it to have pretty damn high stats as well. For traits, use Stats Charge++, Atk & Spd Charge++, and Atk & SPD Charge+.
For your second accessory, you will want to use the Four Spirits Amulet for a massive elemental damage increase. For traits, it’s the same as the first accessory. Have the Stats Charge++, Atk & Spd Charge++, and Atk & SPD Charge+ traits.
These were the best armor, and accessories for Ryza in Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key.

As with most JRPGs, players will work towards min-maxing their character to do the most amount of damage possible, and Ryza offers a system that makes this process a blast to do.
