Based on that, here are all the possible solutions you can try:
Update GPU Drivers
The simplest fix with any new game release is to check if there’s a new update for your GPU Drivers.
Check your GPU’s software (Nvidia or AMD) and check for updates. These can be downloaded and installed within a few minutes and usually help improve performance.
Lower Graphics Settings
Ark: Survival Ascended is a heavy game in terms of RAM and GPU. Based on its official steam page, the recommended system requirements involve 32GB of RAM and a RTX 3080 or equivalent.
If you don’t have those, consider lowering the settings as much as possible until you have higher FPS.
Verify Integrity of Game Files
Another possible fix is checking if there’s an issue with the game files. Find the game on your Steam Library, right-click on it, and select ‘Properties’.
