While there is a wide variety of classes in Legend of Mushroom, the main choices you’ll need to make will be when starting out and when reaching level 50. At level 50, each class has to choose between two specializations and the one they choose will dictate all the future classes they’ll get.
Based on that, in this Legend of Mushroom tier list, I will rank all level 50 classes from best to worst to help you decide which class to invest in.
S-Tier Classes

S-Tier classes are great early-game options and have amazing scaling potential. As you level up, you’ll unlock more powerful passive and active skills that can give you a great advantage during combat.
- Axe Warrior (Warrior)
- Spellcaster (Mage)
Before diving into these classes in depth, make sure to check out our list of the best tips and tricks in Legend of Mushroom to help you get started.
Axe Warrior
The Axe Warrior is one of the best early-game DPS classes as it offers increased counter damage. Additionally, it progresses to the Berserker class, one of the strongest mid-game options.
Lastly, after awakening, you gain access to insanely strong DPS skills; if you’re a fan of melee combat, don’t miss out on the Axe Warrior.
Spellcaster
The Spellcaster stands out due to its amazing DPS. Especially once you progress into Storm Priest, you will have insane DPS buffs with the Meteor Bllitz active and a passive that increases your damage by 80% against targets below half HP.
A-Tier Classes
A-Tier classes offer amazing progression paths and are overall great choices. The only reason they’re on A and not on S is that they’re good, not overpowered.
- Healer (Mage)
The Healer has an overall amazing progression. Chronomancers and Bishops offer a great balance between supportive skills and healing and thus are a must-have for any PvP and PvE team.
B-Tier Classes
B-Tier classes are slightly more situational. Some offer great early-game power but only mediocre class paths in the late-game, while others have mediocre early-game performance but scale really well.
- Wind Crossbower (Archer)
The Wind Corssbower starts to shine after you unlock the Dual Crossbower class, which can shoot 2 additional arrows during combos. This is a significant DPS increase and it only gets better as you level up more.
C-Tier Classes
Lastly, C-Tier classes are slightly weaker overall compared to all other classes. They are still playable and you can get value out of them in the right scenarios; it’s just harder than playing any other class.
- Shadow Sniper (Archer)
- Swordsman (Warrior)
While the Archer class is great for PvE, the Shadow Sniper specialization and its class path are weaker compared to the Wind Crossbower. Similarly, the Swordsman can be fun to use but as a full-on tank, you won’t be able to progress through the game quickly.
And this sums up our class tier list in Legend of Mushroom. Overall, it’s important to remember that there are no bad classes and you should play any class that feels fun and enjoyable.
