Unicorn Overlord Romance Explained
Romance in Unicorn Overlord is fairly straightforward. Your character (Alain) can romance and marry any character they want, regardless of gender, once they maximize Rapport with that character.
You can increase Rapport by completing any of the following actions:
- Fight alongside the character you want to romance
- Eat together in the Tavern
- Give gifts
Fighting and eating together is the easiest part since it’s done automatically while playing the game. As for gift-giving, each character likes and dislikes certain gifts, so you’ll need to prioritize those.
Once you reach max Rapport level, you’ll be able to marry that character by giving them the Ring of Maiden. Increasing Rapport allows you to access unique dialogue options and also increases your characters’ combat stats by a noticeable amount.

How to Romance Virginia
To romance Virginia in Unicorn Overlord, make sure to add her to your party, eat together in the tavern, and give her her favorite items.
If you haven’t recruited her yet, Virginia automatically joins your party after completing the Battle for Mier in Drakehold.
