Pacific Drive Transmuter Explained

Are you trying to find out how the Transmuter works in Pacific Drive? Let’s go through everything you need to know.

In short, the Transmuter allows you to convert one item into another. In its overlay, you can see which item you’ll need to add and which item you’ll receive.

Let’s go through everything you need to know about the transmuter, including where to find it and how to use it.

How Does the Transmuter Work in Pacific Drive?

How does the transmuter work in Pacific Drive?

The Transmuter is a device where you can insert a specific item and get a different specific item back.

To check which items you can insert and what you’ll get, check the front panel in front of the Transmuter, and you’ll see it on the top two icons. The left icon is what you need to add, while the right icon is what you’ll get in return.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to know how many copies of the same item you’ll need to insert. It ranges between 1-10 but the only way to find out the exact number is through trial and error.

Thankfully, if you add the wrong number, you get the materials back, so you don’t lose anything other than time.

On the bright side, if you add more than the required materials, you’ll get the item and any excess materials back.

Also, you’ll notice there is another symbol on the Transmuter’s front panel, which resembles a pie chart. This symbol showcases how many times you can use the Transmuter before it becomes inactive.

Every time you use it, one piece of the pie will get removed. When there are no pieces left, you won’t be able to use it again.

Where to Find Transmuters

How does the transmuter work in Pacific Drive?

You can find Transmuters in Pacific Drive in most radio towers. Check for the red lights on top to spot them from far away. Just keep in mind that not all radio towers contain Transmuters, and you may need to find multiple before spotting your first Transmuter.

Also, each Transmuter exchanges different items, so always make sure to stop and check whenever you find one.

Wrapping up

To wrap up this Pacific Drive Transmuter guide, you can use this station to convert one item into another.

The only issue is that you can’t know how many items exactly you’ll need to insert to get the item you want. This varies anywhere from 1 to 10, and I recommend adding 10 instantly if you have them since you’ll get excess materials back.

Which items were you able to get through the Transmuter you found? How many items did you need to add? Feel free to share your thoughts on this unique device in the comments below.
