It’s time to check out the best magic to use in Clover Retribution! This tier list ranks all the available magic options, so that you can pick and master the best in the game.
There are 11 types of magic currently available in the game. I am going to list them in three different tiers, explained quickly below:
- Tier S magic: The absolute best in Clover Retribution
- Tier A: Very good magic
- Tier B: Decent magic, but secondary at best
With these in mind, let’s quickly take a look at the Magic Tier List for Clover Retribution below!
Clover Retribution Tier S Magic (Best in the Game)
Based on the recent [Update 1 Part 1] for the game, here are the best types of Magic to go for in the game:
- World Tree
- Void
- Blood
Now let’s see why these three magic types are the best in the game, with a quick overview of what they offer.
World Tree Magic
As the name suggests, this is all related to tree magic: first, you have Forest’s Embrace which allows you to summon damaging roots at level 10, increasing in damage as you progress through the levels.
Future spells increase the intensity and effectiveness of the magic you can cast, including increased damage to your opponents.
I particularly like using the leaf vortex at higher mastery level, for an overall balanced and extraordinary magic to use in Clover Retribution.
Void Magic
This one is a bit more difficult to master, but extremely useful once you do learn how to use it.
The jump attack is simply out of this world, while the future unlocks give you a bit more options in damaging the enemies nearby thanks to the Depth Coil and Black Hole.
Blood Magic
Very difficult to get, but totally worth it when you do. This Legendary magic type focuses on dealing plenty of damage, including AoE damage that simply wipes away nearby enemies.
The best comes with a bit of work – the Crimson Hydra at Mastery Level 80 – which summons a blood hydra that deals massive to nearby enemies. Pretty awesome to watch, too!
Ranking the best “anything” in popular games is difficult, but a thing that has to be done. If you want to see more rankings, make sure to check out our previous tier lists below:
Clover Retribution Tier A Magic
Now, let’s get to slightly less useful magic in my opinion – but magic that can definitely prove very useful to specific people. It’s all depending on your actual style of play.
- Earth
- Flame
- Lightning
- Water
Various games also offer their players codes to redeem for goodies. Make sure to check out such articles we’ve published in the past, including one for this game:
Tier B Magic
I would stay away from these as they’re not as good as any of the recommendations above. Check out the lowest tier magic in Clover Retribution:
- Slime
- Healing
- Melody
- Wind

Conclusion
As you can see, the absolute best magic in Clover Retribution is World Tree, closely followed by Spatial and Void.
Remember, creating a tier list – especially when you have many very similar options – is a difficult task and usually subjective. It’s also based on one’s skill and play style, but I still believe that if you pick any of my top three, you’ll be more than happy.
If not, you have the entire second tier to try out and see if you find something better suited for your play style.
