To romance Fang in MTaS, bring him his favorite gifts, interact with him daily, and complete any quests he has. With enough consistency, you’ll get all of his perks and be able to date and marry him.

Fang Romance Guide
Fang is the local doctor in Sandrock, and he is accompanied by his pet raven, X. Fang and X run the city’s local clinic.
He is one of the 12 romanceable bachelors in the game, and he is the only doctor currently within Sandrock, with a fascination for gifting experimental medicine to unknowing tourists and builders.
A unique trait that Fang holds is that he cannot gain relationship points until players have completed Taste of Your Own Medicine. Once the mission has been completed, the player can gain relationship points from chatting with Fang.
Despite Fang being indicated as romanceable from the start of the game, he will refuse a Heart Knot until the player progresses with his missions.
As for Fang’s birthday, it’s on Winter 22. By increasing your relationship with Fang, you’ll gain access to the following perks based on your level:
- Buddy (2-stars): Receive a 10% discount when consuming in the store
- Friend (3-stars): Receive a 20% discount when consuming in the store
- Best Friend (5-stars): Receive 20% off Acupuncture
While finding the best way to increase that relationship, knowing which items are his favorites will help you do it faster.
Best Fang Gifts in MTaS
The best way to romance Fangis by gifting him any of the items that he loves (+10-20 relationship points).
Keep in mind that you shouldn’t gift him the same item two or more days in a row as it will grant fewer relationship points for each consecutive day.

If you want to take this a step further, you can also gift him neutral gifts that increase relationship levels anywhere between 2 and 5. Just make sure not to give him any scrap or ruined items as these will decrease your relationship level.
