You can unlock all classes either by modifying the game files or by completing various chapters and looking for hidden prison carts.

How to Unlock All Classes Instantly in For the King 2
If you want to unlock all classes instantly in For the King 2, you can modify the game files and unlock everything within a few minutes.
To do that, right-click on the game on Steam and select ‘Manage’ and ‘Browse local files’. From there, follow this path:
- For The King II_Data ->Streaming Assets ->Assets ->Config ->JSON~ ->LoreStore
Open LoreStore with numpad and scroll down to find the text for each class. All you need to do now is select each class and set the ‘DefaultState’ to 1 instead of the current -1.
How to Unlock All Classes by Playing
If you want to unlock everything by playing the game normally, here’s how to get all classes in For the King II.
Farmer & Pathfinder
To unlock the Farmer class, you must complete the first campaign after starting the game called the Resistance.
You don’t need to complete any of the Adventure Challenges since I was able to unlock both classes even after completing it in 55 rounds.

Shepherd & Friar
You can unlock the Shepherd and Friar classes in For the King 2 by completing all of Chapter 2.
Alchemist
If you’re trying to unlock the Alchemist, progress the story during the Resistance mission until you get the objective to “Rescue Grizzelle from Prison Cart in the Grasslands”.
Approach the Prison Cart and you’ll hear a cry for help from a second nearby prison cart. The second cart spawns randomly and can be either very close or fairly far away. In either case, make sure to explore the fog after the first cart and you’ll find it.
Once you find the second cart, roll the dice to free the prisoner and you’ll unlock the Alchemist class.
Woodcutter
During Chapter 2, at the Primordial Oak chapter, look for ‘?’ hex tiles on the map and explore all of them until you find a prison cart.
Use a dice roll to free the prisoner from inside, who will be a Woodcutter who wants to join your team.
Hobo
To unlock the Hobo class, during Chapter 3, at the Royal Mines chapter, explore the ‘?’ hex tiles until you find a prison cart.
Once you find it, use a dice roll to free the Hobo from inside, who can then be recruited from the Lore Store at the cost of 20 Lore Books.
