Muncher Seed is a fun stage, and in this guide, I will go over where to find the Wonder Seed, and the Purple Coins for Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
Muncher Fields is in the Petal islands, in a small island between World 5: Fungi Mines, and World 6: Deep Magma bog.
As with every stage, there are three Purple Coins to find, and an extra Wonder Seed to collect as you progress.
For the first two Purple Coins, there are a couple of solutions to getting them, and I will go over them to help players who may have already gone through the stage and want just to do the cleanup.
The third Purple Coin is well hidden toward the end of the stage, and if you complete the Wonder Seed’s challenge you will be able to collect it.

Muncher Fields Wonder Seed Location
The Wonder Seed appears after players get to the checkpoint of the stage. As they keep going to the right, they will notice a flower glowing under a small bridge.
A little to the right a small white muncher will be walking back and forth on top of four brick blocks, and a question mark block.
Once the player ground pounds that block a star will pop out, and it will start right.
Players will want to keep walking to the right following it, and then when it’s under them, fall on it, and run back to the left, until they reach the talking flower.
Once they reach it, they will need to ground pound, and the Wonder Seed will pop out.
Once they get the Wonder Seed, players will be moved to the background, and they will move around as a shadow.
They will need to avoid enemies and move the rock platforms with eyes to the right location.
These platforms will always follow the player so make sure to keep that in mind as you progress.
As they reach the end of the Wonder Seed sequence, they will need to move a small rock platform underneath the Wonder Seed in order to be able to jump and get it.

Muncher Fields First Purple Coin
The first purple token of the stage is right below the starting point. There are a couple of ways of getting to it, so let’s go from simplest to hardest.
The easiest way to get this token is by using any of the Yoshi color variants or Nabbit.
These characters don’t take any field damage, so players will be able to jump down on the munchers, move to the left, grab the coin, and then move along the stage as normal.
The second way is to use a character that takes field damage such as Daisy, while using a power-up.
Once the stage starts, players will jump on the munchers, lose their power up, move to the left, do a wall jump, and then get back to safety. If they have a backup powerup, players can use that to progress through the stage.
The last way players can get this purple coin is by doing it the way it is intended by the stage.
Once the stage starts, players will want to jump in the red pipe in front of them, moving to the background. As they move they will notice a red pipe that is way too high to be reached as it.
They will need to keep moving to the right until they reach a huge stack of blocks stacked together.
By hitting the rightmost question block either with a POW block or with the Elephant power-up, the pipe will be activated, and lower itself.
Once they get inside the pipe, players will be transported back to the stage. On their left, there is a question block with a star inside.
Pick up the star, and run all the way back to the beginning of the stage. One the way thanks to some flowers, players will get new question blocks, holding more stars for them to use, without taking damage.

Muncher Fields Second Purple Coin
The second Purple Coin is pretty easy to get without the need of any special power up, or badge equipped.
When the stage begins, players will need to enter the pipe that transports them to the background.
After running a little to the right, they will notice the second Purple Coin floating in the air.
The first way to get the coin is by jumping on the block line with munchers on the bottom, running while holding the run button, jumping on the top of the square of blocks, and at the edge jump again.
Hold the jump button for the height, and then the R button to use the Parachute Cap badge to float, and get the badge.
There is another way to go about getting the coin though.
A little after the coin you will notice a pipe that has a POW block on it.
Stand on the left side of the pipe, and run, jump up the platform, and towards the end, you will see a puff of smoke behind the character.
Take that cue as your sign to hold the jump button, and use the Parachute Cap. Keep moving left, and the second Purple Coin will be yours.
It should be noted, that a character like Yoshi who can stay in the air longer with the flutter jump can easily pick up the coin.

Muncher Fields Third Purple Coin
The third, and final Purple Coin in this stage is really well hidden.
Most players run past here without noticing there is a small crack on the bottom left wall.
In order to get to the Purple Coin, players will want to jump to the tree, pick up the POW block, and throw it at the munchers below.
The POW blocks spawn infinitely, so there is no fear if you miss the first time. After you clear the way jump down, pick up your coin, and finish the stage.
Final Thoughts
Stages like these can be found all around the game, and it’s really fun to run around the stage figuring out where was that last collectible you missed.
