Let’s check out the Fortress Saga Tier List below, listing the best and worst heroes in this popular game.

Fortress Saga throws at us tens of characters, but not all are created equal. Choosing the best of the best is the main goal here, and I will help you with that.

With various roles to consider (DPS, Tank, Support and so on), it’s difficult – if not impossible – to highlight a single character and call it “the best,” but we can definitely see that some are much better than others. And we’re ranking them all below.

We’re going to list the best heroes in Fortress Saga into four tiers. You might be familiar with these, but here’s a quick recap of what each tier means:

• Tier S: The absolute best characters in the game
• Tier A: Very good characters in the game
• Tier B: Decent characters, but secondary at best
• Tier C: Characters that are more or less useless

With these in mind, let’s quickly take a look at the Tier List for Fortress Saga below!

Fortress Saga Tier S Characters (Best Heroes in the Game)

Although your play style matters a lot when choosing the absolute best heroes in Fortress Saga, I am sure you will find the ones below to tick all the boxes. Here’s a quick list first:

• Ravia
• Elrond
• Bernhard
• Winter
• Zelos
• Elizabeth

Now, let’s get a bit more in depth with each of these top choices and see what makes them so special & the best heroes in the game!

Ruingaladh

My favorite DPS in the game and the best one in the game, in my opinion. Of course, being a Legendary, he’s not easy to get by – but if you do, he’s your main guy! Not to mention the fact that he also boosts your own team’s ATK. No need to say more!

Ravia

Another Legendary hero and the game, and also an amazing Damage dealer. While she has no team boosts, her Bleed damage is useful, as is the case of her skill dealing massive AoE damage.

Elrond

My favorite supporter, being extremely useful to heal your heroes. Also enlarges them upon unlocking the passive skill, which gives them even more health, therefore increasing your chances of doing better in battles.

Bernhard

You can easily use this massive guy as a Tank that also deals plenty of damage. He has taunt, drawing in enemy fire, massive AoE defense reduction AND ignores all crowd control effects.

Winter

Another great tank with knockback and AoE damage. Great for starters too, as she increases the XP gains.

Zelos

This mean looking hero is one that also delivers a lot in any line-up, not just style. He’s a solid DPS who can inflict fear in enemy heroes (or stun bosses).

Zelos also has decent damage and health, but when you unlock his passive skill, he gets life drain which makes him very hard to defeat and an invaluable member to any team.

Elizabeth

A newer character that I see becoming my new favorite supporter in the game. She stuns bosses, which goes great in pair with Zelos above and overall a great one.

Fortress Saga Tier A Characters – Good Heroes

The next set of characters are part of the A-tier, meaning that they are generally good heroes that can be put to good use, especially if you don’t have all the ones listed above, or if you want to fill up different roles or team comps.

I know that, basically, all legendaries are better than the more common ones, but it still matters which legendary you choose.

Fortress Saga Tier B Characters

There characters are average in my opinion. They might work early on in the game, but it’s best not to focus on them at the moment, as you have better options.

Fortress Saga Tier C Characters

These are characters that are of little to no use in Fortress Saga. Don’t waste your time on them.

• Brook

NOTE: Didn’t have the chance to test the Slimes extensively, but I will do so and update this Tier List to include them in their respective tier. I would love to hear your opinion on them, especially if you think there’s one worth being placed in the S Tier.

Conclusion

My top three heroes in Fortress Saga are, at the moment, Ruingaladh, Ravia and Elizabeth. There are also a few more that share the top tier with them, so you have plenty of options.

Do remember that tier lists are a bit subjective and also the play style of every person can have some influence over the top picks.
