To get Misty Step and upgrade Dodge Roll in Remnant 2, players will need to get the Ring of Omens and combine it with any of the following amulets:

  • Death’s Embrace
  • Necklace of Flowing Life
  • Full Moon Circlet
  • Red Doe Sigil
  • Ravager’s Mark
  • Talisman of the Sun

However, these items are all tricky to get, so let’s examine them in turn.

How to Get the Ring of Omens in Remnant 2

This is the first necessary item that you can’t skip. To get the Ring of Omens in Remnant 2, players must travel to the Cathedral of Omens in Yaesha during a Blood Moon.

Complete the campaign and keep rerolling the adventure world until you see a Blood Moon in the sky.

Navigate to the central Cathedral chamber, near the floating platforms. There are three puzzles there and you’ll need to solve the one on the right called the Blood Moon puzzle and unlock that door. To unlock it, rotate the levers as shown in the video below.

As long as it’s during a Blood Moon event, the floor will open up and you’ll get the Ring of Omens.

Keep in mind that you’ll need to complete the Calamity puzzle first, which is also shown in the video above.

Speaking with the Empress in Remnant 2.

Other than the ring of Omens, you’ll need to get any of the following six amulets:

  • Death’s Embrace – Bought by Bedel of the Vaunnt when entering Yaesha for the first time for 1,000 Scrap.
  • Full Moon Circlet – Head to the Imperial Gardens in Yaesha during a Blood Moon and look for a statue with a red plate. There’s a hidden chamber there with this item.
  • Necklace of Flowing Life – Navigate to the Lament in Yaesha. Find a small rectangular room with a lootable sarcophagus and interact with the illusory wall just behind and to the right of the sarcophagus. Follow the path, avoid the arrow traps and you’ll find the Necklace of Flowing Life and the Tomb Dweller’s Ring.
  • Ravager’s Mark – When the Ravager gives you the option to kill the doe, accept and shoot the Doe. For more details, check out our guide on all Ravager choices and rewards in Remnant 2.
  • Red Doe Sigil – Head to the Red Throne area in Yaesha. Select “Kill the beast. What could be easier?” from the dialogue options and move ahead until you reach Widow’s Court. Find the Ornate Box there and DO NOT open it. Bring it back to the Empress and she’ll give you the Red Doe Sigil.
  • Talisman of the Sun – Navigate to the Expanding Glade or the Forgotten Field areas in Yaesha and look for a floating island chain at the end of the map. In a statue there, you’ll find the Talisman of the Sun.

Equip the Ring of Omens and the amulet of your choice from these six and your Dodge Roll will automatically upgrade to the Misty Step.

Wrapping up
