Best Late Game Armor in TotK
Without further delay, here are the five best late-game armor sets in Tears of the Kingdom:
5. Barbarian Armor Set
The Barbarian Armor set is an easy-to-acquire late-game armor that features solid stats overall. With 60 Defense once fully upgraded and buffs that increase Attack and reduce Charged Attack stamina cost, you can never go wrong with this armor.
Each piece will increase Link’s Attack, while the whole set bonus will reduce the stamina used by each charged attack.

4. Awakening Armor Set
The Awakening Armor offers 60 Defense once each piece is fully upgraded as well as an Attack Up bonus.
Additionally, you will need a lot of Luminous Stones to upgrade it, which are fairly easy to farm if you know where to look. For more details, check out our guide on the best locations to farm Luminous Stones in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
After upgrading each piece (at least) twice and equipping all three pieces, you’ll get the extremely useful Attack Up bonus.
3. Fierce Diety Armor Set
The Fierce Deity Set offers 60 Defense, an Attack Up passive, and a Charged Attack stamina reduction cost as an upgrade bonus.
While extremely useful, this is the same effect as the Barbarian set. The reason why the Fierce Diety set is ranked higher than the other armor sets will the same stats is because of its appearance.
The Fierce Diety armor set looks absolutely amazing and allows you to explore the world in style.
2. Wild Armor Set
The Wild Armor set is a great choice as it offers 84 Defense when all pieces are fully upgraded and also provides an Attack Up stat.
To get the Attack Up stat, you’ll need to upgrade each piece at least twice and wear the full set.
However, wearing individual pieces does not offer any unique bonuses so it will require some serious material investment before this armor set starts offering all of its amazing buffs.
1. Ancient Hero’s Aspect Armor Set
The best late-game armor set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is the Ancient Hero’s Aspect armor set.
This set offers 84 Defense once fully upgraded and offers an amazing buff to the Master Sword Beam ability, which is the strongest sword power in the game.
If you want to see exceptionally high damage numbers and completely destroy any enemy in your wake, combining the Ancient Hero’s Aspect armor with the Master Sword will yield amazing results.

However, both are extremely hard to acquire as they are late-game items.
Wrapping up
To sum up, these are the five best late-game armor sets in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Some are harder to unlock than others but all of them offer amazing defensive and offensive stats that will help you clear any end-game content.
