Vittorio Toscano is the latest survivor introduced to Dead by Daylight with the Forged in Fog DLC.
As a non-licensed survivor, Vittorio comes with a unique outfit, while more will be released in the future store and rift.

In this guide, I will explain Vittorio Toscano’s perks and mention his best build and perks in Dead by Daylight.
Vittorio Toscano Perks Explained

Vittorio brings some unique perks to Dead by Daylight that allow him to counter certain killer strategies like 3-gens, provide information, and buff other survivors. Let’s examine them in turn.
Potential Energy
After repairing a generator for 8 seconds, players can activate this perk. After activating it, repairing a generator charges this perk instead of progressing the generator. Each 1.5% of repair progress counts as a 1% charge for this perk.
Then, survivors can use the perk to instantly progress the same or a different generator based on charges held. For instance, repairing a generator for 30% yields a 20% charge for this perk. Then, survivors can instantly progress any generator by 20%.
However, if they get injured while holding charges, they will lose everything. In short, it’s a high-risk high-reward perk.
It is a great way to counter killers who try to 3-gen survivors. Find the 4th generator, charge this perk without completing the generator, and transfer the progress to the other ones.
Fogwise
A simple perk that will be useful in almost every game and could easily become meta. Fogwise allows survivors to see the Killer’s aura for 6 seconds whenever they hit a great skill check.
As long as you can consistently hit great skill checks, you’ll always know where the killer is especially if you are premade with others who also use this perk.
Quick Gambit
When the player with this perk is being chased and is within 24 meters of a generator being repaired by another survivor, the other survivor repairs the generator 8% faster.
While not overpowering, this perk definitely has its uses. For indoor maps like the Game or Lery’s, it will be fairly easy to activate and survivors can gain some solid value from it.
Vittorio Toscano Best Perks/Build
Unlike killers, survivors have no unique powers. Instead, the same build is powerful for each survivor.
To make it more focused on Vittorio, I’ll recommend a build that utilizes his perks as much as possible. Here’s my favorite build at the moment.
- Potential Energy
- Prove Thyself
- Urban Evasion
- Sprint Burst
For this build, Vittorio’s role will be a gen jockey. Your role is to rush gens and gain as much value from potential energy as possible.
Find another survivor and hop on a generator as soon as possible. For the first one or two generators, there’s no reason to risk using Potential Energy. Just rush through them with Prove Thyself.
Then, when there are only one or two generators left, try and use Potential Energy if needed. With Prove Thyself, you will be able to charge it quickly, while Urban Evasion and Sprint Burst minimize the risk of the killer injuring you.
Conclusion
To sum up, that’s everything you need to know about how Vittorio Toscari’s perks work and how to use them optimally in some of his best builds in Dead by Daylight.
Some of his perks have the chance of becoming meta, especially if combined with other current perks.
