If you’ve decided to reallocate the hearts and stamina you’ve found, there is an easy way to do it in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
To respec your points in TotK, visit the Cursed Statue in the tunnels right under Lookout Landing, and then sell and buy back your Staminal Vessels and Heart Containers in exchange for Rupees.
In this guide, I will showcase where to find the Cursed Statue in Tears of the Kingdom and explain how to use it to respec your points easily.

Where to Find the Cursed Statue in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To find the Cursed Statue in Zelda TotK for the first time, players will need to complete a brief side quest named “Who Goes There”.
Visit the Emergency Shelter in Lookout Landing and find a person named Jerrin.
As for how to get to the Emergency Shelter, talk to the soldier in the middle of Lookout Landing named Scorpis to gain access to it.
After starting the quest, head to the tunnel behind her and smash the rocks with a bomb or your weapon.
Then, there will be two more sets of rocks, one on the right and one on the left. Break the one on the right side.
Interact with the Statue and you’ll need to complete another brief side quest called “A Deal With The Statue“. Decide if you want your heart back or to exchange it for more stamina, and exhaust the dialogue options to complete this quest.
Lastly, don’t forget to return to Jerrin to complete the first quest. This will unlock the Cursed Statue and you’ll be able to respec your points at any time.
How to Respec in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Now that you’ve unlocked the Cursed Statue, here’s everything you need to know on how to respec your points:
- Speak to the statue and decide which essence you want to sell. Selling a Stamina Vessel will reduce your Stamina, while selling a Heart Container will reduce your HP.
- Sell the essence of your choice in exchange for 100 Rupees.
- Buy the essence you want to upgrade for 120 Rupees. Buy a Stamina Vessel if you want to increase your Stamina, or a Heart Container to increase your HP.
And that’s all. You can do this process as many times as you want. Keep in mind that each time you respec an essence, it will cost you 20 Rupees (you gain 100 by selling one essence and need to buy it back for 120).

In conclusion, to respec your points simply visit the Cursed Statue in Lookout Landing and sell the Stamina Vessels or Heart Containers.
Then, buy the other one and the points will be transferred there immediately with only a cost of 20 Rupees per point exchanged.
