There are five Solstice Shrines in the game and they can be found scattered all over the map. Each shrine has its own puzzle and challenges to solve, so finding and solving all of them is no easy task.
In this guide, I will explain how to find all Solstice Shrines in Sea of Stars by showcasing their exact locations.

All Solstice Shrine Locations in Sea of Stars
Without further delay, let’s examine all Solstice Shrine locations in Sea of Stars and how to access them.
Solstice Shrine #1 – Evermist Island
The first Solstice Shrine can be easily found on Evermist Island, at the far right side of the map just before the dock.
To access this shrine, you’ll need the Solstice Chamber Key, which is gained from Elder Moraine.
Solstice Shrine #2 – Wraith Island
The second Solstice Shrine is located on Wraith Island, just after the Town of Lucent. Right of the Cursed Woods and below the Cursed Mansion, you’ll find the shrine.
To get inside, you’ll need to have the Graplou, which is unlocked by progressing the main story on Wraith Island.
Keep in mind that after this part, there are certain spoilers about game mechanics introduced later on.
Solstice Shrine #3 – Solstice Shrine Island Near Skyward Spine
The third Solstice Shrine is located in the home world map, on an island near Skyward Spine called Solstice Shrine Island.
To access this island, you’ll need Valere and Zale’s ability to Fly.
Solstice Shrine #4 – Solstice Shrine Island Near Sleeper Island
Similarly to the previous shrine, the fourth Solstice Shrine in Sea of Stars is located in the Home World Map.
This time, it’s next to the Sleeper Island, and you’ll need again Valere and Zale’s ability to fly.
Solstice Shrine #5 – Serai’s World Island
The fifth and last Solstice Shrine can be found on Serai’s World Map, just on the southwest corner.
This island also requires Valere and Zale’s ability to Fly and can only be accessed through the Sea of Stars.
Solstice Shrine Rewards in Sea of Stars
In terms of rewards, each Shrine offers a different prize upon completing each puzzle while there’s also an extra reward for completing all of them. Here are all Solstice Shrine rewards in Sea of Stars:
- Shrine #1 – Soonarnag Combo – Lunar and Solar magic projectile that bounces to multiple targets.
- Shrine #2 – Solstice Sash – Magic Attack +7.
- Shrine #3 – Heliacal Earrings – M. ATK +10 & Sunball does full damage to splash targets.
- Shrine #4 – Eclipse Armor.
- Shrine #5 – Celestial Ray – M. ATK +5 Regular attacks regenerate +1 MP.
Additionally, after completing all five shrines, head to the area where you met the Elder Mist at the start of the game and follow the Mountain Trail. Within a cave nearby, you’ll find the Rune that you saw after completing each shrine.
Interact with it and you’ll fight the Elder Mist again. Defeating the Elder Mist will grant you the Moon Bo and the Sun Blade, which are the best weapons in Sea of Stars for Zale and Valere.
