Persona 3 Reload: Tips for Raising Social Links
When you want to raise the rank of a Social Link with a character you will be given prompts, and pick the ones you think are the best given any situation.
If you pick the correct prompt, you can get +1 or even +3 points in that Social Link.
To get the most points when going after any given character’s Social Link, you will need to have a Persona of the corresponding Arcana.
In Hidetoshi’s case, this means having a Persona of the Emperor Arcana.
Hidetoshi’s Social Link is unlocked automatically on April 27th as part of Mitsuru’s ongoing plan to integrate the protagonist into the school. You will join the Student Council, and this will automatically open his Social Link.
Before joining you will need to go to the faculty office and sign the permission slip that Ms. Toriumi has. After that simply go to the Student Council room.

This specific Social Link didn’t do it for me as a whole, but there were some funny and cute moments, especially at the end. I just hope they did more than what was originally given.
Since this is the first game in the series where Social Links were introduced, some are indeed rough around the edges.
