Are you interested in catching and trading humans in Palworld? Here’s how to capture merchants and bring them with you.
You can catch humans by throwing Pal Spheres until they get caught; however, they have a very low capture rate, and you can’t see exactly how much that is.
To help you with this, this guide will go through how to capture them, the best tips to do that, and why they’re worth capturing.
How to Catch & Tame Humans in Palworld

You can catch humans in the same way as Pals: damage them until they’re low HP and then use a Pal Sphere. However, humans have a significantly low capture rate and are also high level (30-40).
You’ll need to bring strong Pals to damage them and your best spheres. I recommend Giga Spheres. Keep in mind that even then, they’ll have a significantly small capture rate, and you’ll need to use a lot of spheres.
Also, when you attempt to catch a merchant, they’ll summon reinforcements. Settlement merchants will summon a squad of PIDF Infantry. Similarly, Black Marketeers will summon a level 40 Cawgnito to fight by their side.
As for which humans you can catch, the answer is everyone. This includes Pal merchants, guards, wandering merchants, and Black Marketeers. However, since the capture rate is so low, I don’t recommend catching everyone.

Which Humans to Capture & What Do They Do?
Humans have terrible combat stats, passive abilities, work traits, and attack moves; thus, you won’t use them in combat or as base workers. Instead, the only benefit is that if you capture a trader and place them in your base, you’ll be able to access their stock at any point.
Due to that, I recommend catching wandering merchants since they’re hard to find, as well as Black Marketeers since they have valuable stock.
The best part is that there’s a bug currently where captured merchants will reset their stock if you store them in your Palbox and then take them out again.
Wrapping up
To wrap this up, you can catch humans in Palworld by throwing them a Pal Sphere and waiting until they get caught, similar to Pals. However, since they’re way harder to catch, you must bring them to low HP first and use your best spheres.
Once you catch a trader, you’ll be able to place them at your base through the Palbox and access their stock whenever you want. This will allow you to buy and sell new Pals directly from the safety of your base. And that’s all!
