How to Get Zombie Pigman Head in Minecraft

There is no way to get the Zombie Pigman head in vanilla Minecraft.

As of the 1.20 update, there is no way to get the Zombie Pigman or the Zombified Piglin head in vanilla Minecraft. No matter how many times you kill them and regardless of the methods you use, the Zombie Pigman will not drop its head upon death.

However, players can still get the Zombie Pigman head in Minecraft via mods.

All you need to do is have the owner of the server add a mob heads mod, which will make every mob have a chance of dropping its head upon death.

If you want to avoid using mods, you can try getting the Piglin head, which was added in the 1.20 update.

How to Get Piglin Head in Minecraft

To get the Piglin head in vanilla Minecraft, make a Charged Creeper kill a Piglin.

To get a Piglin head in Minecraft, players will need to bring a Charged Creeper next to a Piglin and make the creeper explode. If the Piglin dies from the Charged Creeper’s explosion, it will drop its head.

To get a Charged Creeper, you will need to have a normal Creeper that gets hit by lightning. This can happen either during thunderstorms by chance, or with a trident that has the Channeling enchant.

This is far from easy of course, and guiding a Charged Creeper to the Nether can be tricky. After all, Charged Creepers are more dangerous than normal Creepers.

If you’re really committed to getting the Piglin head, be prepared to die a few times. It’s a process that can take a while since even the slightest mistake can force you to start all over.

Wrapping up

To sum up, while players can’t get the Zombie Pigman head in Minecraft, they can get the Piglin head by killing a Piglin with a Charged Creeper.

Additionally, players can also get Zombie, Skeleton, Creeper, Wither Skeleton, and Dragon heads.
