Navigate to %localappdata%\MidnightGhostHunt\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Open the file “engine.ini”.
Copy and paste the following text at the very top while changing the USERNAME with your Windows Username “[/script/onlinesubsystemeos.eossettings]
CacheDir=C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\MidnightGhostHunt\Saved”.

Make sure to save the file and try re-launching the game.

Failed to Initialize Bug Fix in Midnight Ghost Hunt

If you get the Failed to Initialize bug, here is what you’ll need to do:

Go to Steam’s Library and locate Midnight Ghost Hunt.
RMB on it and then choose “Browse Local Files”.
Open the folder called EasyAntiCheat and run as administrator the file called “install_game_launcher.bat”.

If you’re having an issue with Ghost Shards displaying as -1, navigate to the following folder:

%localappdata%/MidnightGhostHunt/Saved/SaveGames

From there, open the folder that’s a bunch of numbers and delete the file called “steam_autocloud.vdf”. Then, restart Steam and launch the game again.
