To repair items and weapons, use a merc with a high mechanical skill and find the Repair Items option within the Operations tab. As long as you have enough Parts available, your Mechanic will start repairing the selected items.

To get Parts in Jagged Alliance 3, players will need to scrap weapons or gear that they own.

To do that, navigate to your inventory (hotkey: I), right-click on the weapon or item you want to scrap, and then select ‘Scrap’.

This will destroy the item completely and give you parts in return. Keep in mind that the number of Parts you’ll get will depend on the durability of the item. An item with 80% durability will give more parts than the same item with 40% durability.

Alternatively, players can find Parts during a mission while exploring Hidden Stashes. There is at least one Hidden Stash on each mission and it can easily be found by your mechanic.

These will award Parts, Chips, Steel Pipes, Lenses, and more.
