Are you looking to make Legendary items in Last Epoch? Let’s go through everything you need to know in detail.
In short, you can make Legendary items by finding the Eternity Cache in the Temporal Sanctum and combining there one Unique item that has 1-4 Legendary Potential with one Exalted item of the same type that has four affixes.
The process is fairly complicated and includes a lot of details, so let’s explain everything in turn.
Legendary Items Explained
Legendary items are the highest tier of items available in Last Epoch. They are above Exalted and Unique and stand out due to both their stats and their multiple affixes.
If you want to min-max your gear, you definitely want to get Legendary items. But how do you make them?

How to Make Legendary Items in Last Epoch
To make Legendary items in Last Epoch, you need to head to the Temporal Sanctum and combine the following two items:
- 1x Unique item with 1-4 Legendary Potential
- 1x Exalted item of the same type with 4 affixes
The Exalted item has to be of the same type, meaning that if you want to get a Legendary Sword, you’ll need to combine a Unique Sword with an Exalted Sword.
The Legendary Potential number on the Unique item showcases how many affixes will get transferred from the Exalted item to the Legendary item.
Thus, if you have a Unique item with 4 Legendary Potential and an Exalted item with four affixes, all four affixes will get transferred to your new Legendary, which is the best-case scenario!

Once you have these two items, you must get a Temporal Sanctum Key and find the Cache there. Add them inside, and they’ll turn into a Legendary.
Also, there is a second way to make Legendary items that involves having a Unique item with Weaver’s Will instead of Legendary Potential. However, only a certain few items can get Weaver’s Will and it ranges from numbers 5-28.
As you kill enemies with a Weaver’s Will item, it will randomly either level up a current affix or gain a new one. With 28 Weaver Will, the item will upgrade/gain affixes 28 times, which will result in the current maximum of four level 7 affixes.
Temporal Sanctum Guide – How to Get the Key
To get a Temporal Sanctum Key, you will need to complete Timeline Bosses in the Monolith of Faith. It’s not a guaranteed chance, but it’s fairly high, and you can farm it consistently.
Within the dungeon, after killing Julra, you’ll find an Eternity Cache. Start in the Divine Era and open the cache. Insert your Unique and Exalted items, seal the Cache, and switch eras. Once you open the cache, you’ll get your Legendary item.
Keep in mind that you can only do this once per dungeon run. If you want to get two Legendary items, you’ll also need to get two Temporal Sanctum Keys and complete the dungeon twice.
Wrapping up
To summarize, you can make Legendary items in Last Epoch by combining a Unique item with 1-4 Legendary Potential and an Exalted item with four affixes in the Eternity Cache within the Temporal Sanctum Dungeon.
If you have four Legendary Potential and four affixes, your new Legendary item will have four affixes. This will make it exceptionally strong if you’re lucky enough to get these.
