How to Get Anguish in Remnant 2

Are you trying to get Anguish in Remnant 2 but can’t find it? Here’s its exact location and where to find the Dran.

To get Anguish in Remnant 2, find the Ethereal Manor, use the Liquid Death item, and teleport back to Ward 13. Afterward, you will need to find a Dran seven times, with the first being in Ward 13.

To help you, I’ll go through everything in detail step-by-step including all of the Dran’s locations.

Anguish Location in Remnant 2

Where to find Anguish in Remnant 2. — Dran location in the Ethereal Manor.

To get Anguish in Remnant 2, go to either Adventure or Campaign Mode and progress until you have unlocked both Root Earth and the Labyrinth maps unlocked. In the Root Earth area, progress until you reach the checkpoint after the trainyard.

Head to Ward 13 and re-roll Losomn or The Awakened King World.

You will need to keep doing it until you get a Losomn map with Fire Dungeons that also includes the Ethereal Manor event. This event can appear in Butcher’s Quarters, Cotton’s Kiln, Derelict Lighthouse, or Sunken Haunt.

If you have the One Shot adventure still available for the DLC, finding these will be significantly easier.

Once you’re on the right map, explore until you find the Ethereal Manor, head inside, and go up. Open the first door there and you’ll find a Dran sitting in a chair. Interact with it to get teleported to an alternate version of Ethereal Manor.

Next, use the Liquid Death consumable to get teleported to a new area. Grab the Crimson Dreamstone Ring in front of you (optionally) and then use the checkpoint to teleport back to Ward 13.

Important Note: After using Liquid Death and reaching this new area, you must not die at any point onwards, otherwise you’ll need to repeat the whole process.

All Remnant 2 Dran Locations

Now, you’ll need to find the Dran in seven different locations, in a specific order. Let’s go through all of them.

Find the Dran in Ward 13

In Ward 13, walk down the slope after the firing range, and at the far end, next to a fire, you’ll find a Dran. He’ll disappear and now you must find him in various locations.

Find the Dran in Yaesha – The Red Throne

Your next location is the Red Throne map in Yaesha. Keep rerolling the area in Adventure Mode until you get it.

In The Red Throne, head straight toward the main temple while following the central path and turn right before going up the stairs. Follow the path straight and at the end of it, turn left. At the end of the path, you’ll find the Dran again.

Find the Dran in the Labyrinth – Campaign Mode

For the next step, change back to Campaign Mode and spawn to the Fractured Ingress checkpoint in the Labyrinth. Go up the stairs left of the portal. Once you head all the way up, you’ll see the Dran on your right.

Find the Dran in N’Erud – Forgotten Prison

Your next destination is N’Erud in an instance that has the Forgotten Prison map. This is part of the Tal’Ratha storyline and you’ll find the Dran just before the checkpoint of the Tal Ratha’s Refuge boss fight.

Find the Dran in the Root Earth Campaign

Head back to Campaign Mode and specifically to the Root Earth map. Reach the checkpoint after the trainyard and you’ll see the Dran right next to it, by the fence.

Find the Dran in Losomn – Tormented Asylum

Your next destination is Losomn and you’re looking for the Tormented Asylum map. You will need to progress the Nightweaver storyline there to unlock this map.

In the basement of the Tormented Asylum, you’ll find the Dran at the end of the main hallway. Once he disappears, you’ll get the Dran’s Dream consumable item.

How to Use the Dran’s Dream Item – Final Dran Location in Remnant 2

With the Dran’s Dream item in your inventory, select it and equip it as a quick slot item. Use it and your character will teleport to a new area called The Forgotten Null.

By the sea, you’ll find the Dran and next to it, the Occult Vessel item. Now all that’s left is to head back to Ward 13 and talk to Ava McCabe. She will allow you to craft Anguish in Remnant 2 with the following items:

1x Occult Vessel
7x Lumenite Crystals
1000x Scrap

And that’s it! You’ve just obtained the most elusive weapon in the Remnant 2 DLC.
