The issue is that you can only delete your HoYoverse account, which will remove your progress from any other game that the account is connected such as Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd.

Can You Delete Only Your Honkai Star Rail Account?
Unfortunately, there is no way to delete only your Honkai Star Rail account.
Instead, you’ll need to delete your entire HoYoverse account, which will include any progress you have in other HoYoverse games such as Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd.
If you just want to reset your progress in Honkai Star Rail alone, the best tip is to make a new account with a different email.
Of course, if you only have Honkai Star Rail in your HoYoverse account, deleting the whole HoYoverse account will simply delete your progress in Honkai Star Rail.
But how do you delete your HoYoverse account?
How to Delete HoYoverse Account
Before deleting your HoYoverse account, keep in mind that this will make you lose all your progress in Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd if they are linked to the same account.
Here’s how to delete your HoYoverse account:
- Press ‘Esc’ to access the Main Menu of Honkai Star Rail.
- Select the Settings icon from the right-side menu.
- Navigate to the fourth tab from the side menu, which is the ‘Account Settings’, and select ‘User Center’.
- Scroll to the bottom of the newly-opened page, select ‘Detete Account’, and then select ‘Next’.
After going through all the confirmations, the process of deleting your account will begin.
For the next 30 days, your account will be marked as Inactive. If you don’t log in at all within these 30 days, your account will be fully deleted.
If you change your mind at any point before the 30-day inactivity period is over, simply log in to your HoYoverse account, and the deletion process will stop.

To summarize, while you can’t delete your Honkai Star Rail account, you can delete your HoYoverse account.
Just keep in mind that this will make you lose progress in any other HoYoverse game linked to this account.
