The Chinese Chomping Cabbage is one of the three offensive plants used in Hogwarts Legacy to help with combat.
Players can get it by planting its seeds, or by buying it directly from the Dogweek and Deathcap store in Hogsmeade for 300 coins.
If you don’t have enough coins to buy it, consider checking out our guide on how to make money fast in the game. There’s an extremely easy and efficient method that only requires being able to capture beasts.
In this guide, I will explain how to get and use Chinese chomping cabbage in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Get Chinese Chomping Cabbage in Hogwarts Legacy
There are two ways to get Chinese chomping cabbage in the game. First, players can buy seeds from the Dogweed and Deathcap store in Hogsmeade for 600 coins.
These can be planted in a medium pot within the Room of Requirement, take 12 minutes to grow, and will allow you to have a lifetime supply of Chinese chomping cabbage.
Alternatively, players can buy Chinese chomping cabbage directly from the Dogweed and Deathcap store in Hogsmeade at the price of 300 coins each.
While it’s cheaper and faster than buying seeds, this method only gives one cabbage. If you need just one for the quest and aren’t planning on using them ever again, then this is the best method. In any other case, you’re better off buying and growing the seeds.
How to Use Chinese Chomping Cabbage in Hogwarts Legacy
The Chinese chomping cabbage is a great combat tool that can help take down enemies when used.
To use it, hold LB, select the Chinese chomping cabbage from the wheel, and release LB. Then, tap LB to throw it while in combat with an enemy.
It will start attacking any nearby enemies and keep them distracted. This way, you’ll be able to take enemies down easily, since not everyone will be targeting you at the same time.
It’s a great way to get some breathing room if you’re feeling overwhelmed during combat. Especially in cases where you’re facing multiple enemies, the Chinese chomping cabbage can be a lifesaver.
Wrapping up
To summarize, players can get Chinese chomping cabbage by buying the cabbage or its seeds from the Dogweed and Deathcap store in Hogsmeade for 300 or 600 coins respectively.
