To change the time of day in Hogwarts Legacy, players should start by opening the world map. Then, hold the R3 stick, which is the default button for passing in-game time.
This will allow you to wait in the area you are currently in and advance time from day to night or night to day.
This can be done in any location in Hogwarts, except the Room of Requirement. After all, this room has its own rules.
Can You Select a Specific Hour in Hogwarts Legacy?
Unfortunately, while you can change time from day to night and vice versa, you can’t set it to a specific time. There is no way to set the time to noon, afternoon, or morning in Hogwarts Legacy.
Instead, the only way is to set it to day/night and wait. On the bright side, other than cinematics, there’s no reason to care for any time other than plain day and night.
While different materials and quests can be accessed on day and night, there are no differences between day and noon or afternoon. As long as it isn’t night, anything accessible during the day can be found normally.
Can You Change the Weather/Seasons in Hogwarts Legacy?
The short answer here is no. There is no way to manually change the weather or the current season in Hogwarts Legacy.
However, these are linked to the game’s main story. As you progress through the main quests, the seasons will change.
For instance, after a while, it will turn to winter and the weather will get snowy. The only issue is that this can’t be controlled manually. You’ll have to be patient about that.
